Education

The staff members of the Department of General Chemistry and Chromatography teach general chemistry to the 1st course students in general chemistry, environmental chemistry, physics cum chemistry, and biology. Curriculum in General Chemistry embraces the main lecture (2h per week) plus the accompanying practical classes (i.e. the general chemistry seminar, the chemical calculus, and the laboratory classes). Moreover, the following monograph and specialization lectures on separation sciences are given to the udergraduate (i.e. the 4th and the 5th course) chemistry students, who complete their MSc theses in separation sciences: (i) Physicochemical Basis of Chromatographic Process in Liquid Chromatography, (ii) Selected Techniques and Problems of Liquid Chromatography, and (iii) Chromatographic Separation of Enantiomers (1h per semester each).
