Acta Chromatographica

Prof. Teresa Kowalska has been acting as Editor of the annual journal devoted to all fields of chromatography and the hyphenated techniques - Acta Chromatographica - right from its establishing in 1992. In spite of its modest volume (generally one issue per year; in 2006 and 2007, published as semi-annual), Acta Chromatographica has become an internationally recognized journal abstracted in Chemical Abstracts and covered by the ISI products (i.e. by the Science Citation Index - Expanded (SCIE), including the Web of Science (WoS), the Chemistry Citation Index (CCI) and Research Alert). Until 2007, Acta Chromatographica has been published in printed version in Katowice, Poland, and starting from the No.6/1996 issue, it has been available in a parallel free electronic version also. The digital version is located on the main server of the University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland.

Remaining in an unchanged manner the property of the University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland, in 2008 Acta Chromatographica began to be published as a quarterly both in printed and digital version by the internationally renowned Hungarian Publisher, Akademiai Kiado in Budapest, Hungary. It continues to be co-edited by Prof. Teresa Kowalska and Dr. Mieczyslaw Sajewicz. Its current status is a sponsored free access journal.
